The Finnish Association for Maritime History is responsible for editing the biennial maritime history yearbook Nautica Fennica publishded by the Maritime Museum of Finland and the Finnish Heritage Agency. Running for over four decades, the series was included in the Finnish Publication Forum ranking at tier 1 in 2015. The next edition will be out in 2023 with the theme “Biographies- People and Objects”.
Nautica Fennica is scholarly peer-reviewed publication following Federation of Finnish Learned Societies guidelines. All article proposals will be reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers. All decicions on publication are done by the editorial board comprised of maritime history experts. The board members are:
